We had a marvelous ‘Pancake and P.J’ Brekkie morning at West End Kindergarten. Thank you to all the whanau that came and had breakfast with us. There was so much kai brought into share, we had food to share at lunchtime and afternoon tea as well. We had pancakes, some gluten free ones, cereals, sushi, breakfast muffins, toast, fruit and some yummy cocoa to drink.
We all wore our Pajama’s, dressing gowns or onesie’s, even the teachers which made some children laugh because they didn’t think that we owned Pajama’s.
A story book that we introduced in conjunction with the Oral Language and Literacy Initiative was called Dad’s snore. Tamariki practiced all week with Whaea Mel and gave an amazing performance for their whānau, Tamariki were excited to use drama to play their favourite character from the book.
Thank you to all the whānau who donated their time and kai.
